Petchitecture is the annual gala fundraiser for PAWS (Pets are Wonderful Support), a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to help keep people and pets together. The PAWS mission is to ensure that illness or age never separate people from the unconditional love of their pets. WDA supports this mission by creating pet habitats for auction at Petchitecture, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting PAWS.

“Solar Pup” seamlessly integrates sustainable building technologies and modern design in a simple and effective pet enclosure. The roof of the habitat is a photovoltaic panel that supplies power to fans contained within the Cor-Ten box, which function to maintain a comfortable environment for the pet. With its simple, sculptural form our “Solar Pup” habitat compliments any landscape.
