Petchitecture is the annual gala fundraiser for PAWS (Pets are Wonderful Support), a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to help keep people and pets together. The PAWS mission is to ensure that illness or age never separate people from the unconditional love of their pets. WDA supports this mission by creating pet habitats for auction at Petchitecture, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting PAWS.

This year, our focus was on cats. Because our client was a wine connoisseur, we re-purposed a wine barrel cover to create a lofty perch for the two lucky kitties. A cast resin base that contains wine paraphernalia (corks, champagne cages, corkscrews, etc.) supports the lounge deck. We also made this habitat portable to take catnaps, outdoors on sunny days.
