William Duff Architects (WDA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jim Westover to Partner. Westover will remain responsible for managing WDA’s residential practice, signing architectural drawings and actively participating in management of overall firm operations. He is the first Partner to be named in the 18 years since William Duff founded WDA. During Jim’s time with WDA, he has a hand in multiple projects, including the ones shown here.
“I am honored and excited to become a partner at William Duff Architects,” said Jim Westover. “I look forward to working with Duffer (William Duff) to continue to grow the firm and expand on WDA’s innovative body of work. We’re fortunate to have a talented and dedicated team who puts clients first while delivering on an exciting mix of residential, retail and commercial projects.”
Westover brings with him over 30 years of experience in architecture and interiors. Before joining WDA in 2010, he founded his own residential firm. He started his career at K+CZL Associates where he worked on the historic preservation of St. Joseph’s Cathedral in San Jose, and later moved on to FME Architecture + Design, where he worked for 17 years on a variety of projects from large-scale commercial developments and corporate offices to churches, schools and private residences. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. He is licensed to practice by the California Architects Board, and LEED-accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council.
We thank Jim for all of his hard work here at WDA, and proudly congratulate him on his Partnership!
