To assist the building owner in leasing this warehouse—spanning an entire SoMa block with entrances on two streets—we designed rehabilitation and reuse upgrades to reimagine it as an office-style building. Natural light enters the space through glass walls on the façade of each entry, a second-floor skylight, and open main stairwell. An interior living wall and roof deck add the comforts of home to the surrounding urban, industrial environment.
