HSA -1440 Harrison street
San Francisco, CA

This redesign of the San Francisco Human Services Agency (HSA) offices in a historic building afforded the unique opportunity to upgrade the space for employees, and create a warm, inviting environment for their clients. We facilitated our client’s needs with the building owner (San Francisco Unified School District) to efficiently upgrade and modernize the lobby, waiting area, and office space, while making city required safety and accessibility upgrades. Our firm drew on lessons about flow and customer interface we’ve learned on retail and restaurant projects. As a result, the renovated space is more inviting to HSA clients, more efficient for employees, and more relaxing for everyone.
