Arch Camp is an opportunity for students to get an inside look at life in an architecture firm.
As practicing architects, we remember how challenging it was to learn the basics about what architects do and the steps to take to become an architect. This is particularly true for those of us from backgrounds that are still underrepresented in our industry. That’s why we created Arch Camp to be a space where you can explore a future career in architecture alongside peers on a similar journey.
Who is Arch Camp for?
Arch Camp is for currently enrolled Bay Area high school students who are curious about the profession or already interested in pursuing architectural studies but want to learn more. In addition to accepting individual applications, we work with schools in our community where this program can make the most impact. We give priority consideration to students from historically underrepresented groups (HUGs).

We’ll take you through the fundamentals of architecture, how projects are designed, what to expect in the workplace, and will share tips on applying to architecture schools. The workshop will end with a dynamic panel discussion with WDA Team members and a social hour with the office where light refreshments will be served. Lunch will be provided. Topics include:
