Beckie Denio brings a thoughtful, organized approach to project management, guiding teams through design and documentation with clarity, care and attention to detail. Her experience spans a wide range of project types, including outdoor retail centers, a public library, community college learning centers and one of the first all-electric aquatic centers in California.

Beckie’s interest in architecture began at a young age, when her father showed her the blueprints for their family home. Learning to read and understand the drawings sparked an early fascination with how spaces are imagined, documented and ultimately built. That curiosity led her to earn a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas and continues to shape the way she approaches her work today. With a longstanding interest in sustainability, fire resilience and healthy buildings, Beckie brings a future-minded perspective to each project.  In 2025, she earned her certification as a Passive House Designer, deepening her commitment to architecture that is responsible, durable and responsive to the people it serves.

Outside the office, Beckie enjoys spending time with her husband and young adult children, hiking, reading, working on jigsaw puzzles and learning new DIY skills. She is also an active volunteer member of the leadership committee for the El Cerrito & Kensington Community Emergency Response Team program.
