Drew Curran

Designer

Originally from Dallas Fort-Worth, Drew’s interest in architecture was sparked from spending summers with his grandfather in Northern Michigan, who was also an architect. After years of building Lincoln Log fortresses, he decided to solidify his interest in the built environment and earned his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Texas.

His culminating thesis focused on affordable, environmentally responsible, and community-reinforcing architecture through two interconnected projects in New Orleans. Looking to escape the summer heat of his native lone star state, Drew ventured to San Francisco post-graduation, and started his professional life designing houses.

Outside of the office, he loves exploring the endless food, music, nature, and excitement the Bay Area has to offer. Drew is also up for playing on any rec league sports team that will accept his services and is often out of breath trying to run or cycle through the hills of The City.

What other profession intrigues you?
Musician. I have always had a deep love for music and a curiosity for the intricacies of music theory and production.
What’s your dream project?
A museum, library, or spiritual building. All three serve as a home for community and represent ideas bigger than a singular building.
