SHLTR features Alaska Airlines Lounge SFO

SHLTR recently featured our project Alaska Airlines Lounge SFO. This is a summary of the article, Going Places, by Zahid Sardar.

“At the Harvey Milk Terminal at SFO, the Alaska Lounge, completed last summer by William Duff Architects, is a place you won’t want to leave quickly. Perhaps it’s because, as architect Jonathan Tsurui – who led the $12 million, 11,000 square foot design project – explains, “We used some high-end details we typically reserve for residences.”

A lounge – no matter how it incorporates standardized features like Alaska’s signature Resolute pendant lights, which resemble airplane turbines – always aims to evoke the essence of its region, something this design does.”
