WDA’s Napa Valley Winery Recognized by the American Architecture Awards

William Duff Architects (WDA) is honored to share that our Napa Valley Winery project has won the American Architecture Award in the Entertainment category, recognizing an architectural vision that brings together art, winemaking and hospitality in California’s Napa Valley.

Designed for a client with a deep appreciation for contemporary art, the winery reimagines the traditional wine cave as a sculptural, above-ground structure. A restrained palette of concrete and patinated copper, carefully framed views and thoughtfully placed openings create an experience shaped by light, material and the surrounding vineyard landscape.

The project reflects WDA’s approach to hospitality architecture: creating environments that express a client’s individuality while balancing operational needs with a memorable guest experience. We’re grateful to our client and talented project partners for their shared vision and collaboration and honored to have this work recognized.
