William Duff Architects (WDA) welcomes new Hospitality Practice leader Patrick Kruger. Partnering closely with Managing Principal William Duff and Associate Principal Jonathan Tsurui, Patrick will help drive the practice’s growth into boutique hospitality and resort lodging. His addition builds on WDA’s established expertise in restaurants, wineries, airport lounges and amenities.
Patrick joins WDA with over 30 years of experience in hospitality design. His work spans globally, having designed projects around the world while honing his skills in key leadership roles at distinguished international firms like Michael Graves and WATG. He is actively involved in the professional community as a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the advisory board of ALIS DESIGN+.

WDA’s existing hospitality portfolio includes established brands in aviation, retail and restaurants such as Alaska Airlines, Air France, British Airways and Isabel Marant and Back of the House. Patrick adds a list of notable past projects to their portfolio, including Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas, The Lodge at Torrey Pines and Grand Hyatt Kuala Lampur.
