Our food court kiosk design for family-owned Tacos El Grullense was inspired by El Grullo, the owners’ hometown in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
We drew on the region’s vivid colors, geometric motifs and rustic materials to frame the space around the demonstration kitchen and cashier stand.
As our design focal point, we sought to showcase the art in the everyday by incorporating a custom mural featuring a woman, agave plant, and crane created in homage to El Grullo’s people, agriculture and wildlife.
