illy Caffè in SFO’s Harvey Milk Terminal 1 is a material reflection of their passion to construct “a world of intelligence, experience, taste, science and art around the pleasure of a perfect cup of coffee.”

The big move for this cafe was the simple articulation of a black ribbon which frames their space and is somewhat setback into an alcove. Illy’s signature red bar acts as a focal point, drawing patrons in.
